This website will still be a website where I share all of my knowledge on owning a small online business and tips and tricks on creating a profitable blog. But I will be making sure to update this site as frequently as possible as I can.

The learning curve with WordPress is ridiculous so it's going to be a new experience. I will continue to be working on my courses again. In between school and work I find it almost impossible sometimes to do anything at all.

My grandmother gifted me today all these wonderfully cute items for journaling.

She gave me a bullet journal and some cute notepads to place inside it. She got all this on a website that advocates for mental health. They are so cute and different and they are very very colorful.

I will be placing my photos of all the wonderful items I was gifted on my other blog so look out for that post.

As far as catching back up on things I am starting a new series called, Social Media Marketing for Newbies. As you can probably tell it's going to be about Social Media Marketing, we will be diving into new methods, we will run some test tries and see what methods work best and learn some new ways to gain followers.

In this time of rebranding, I really want to focus on my initial mission which is helping entrepreneurs start a profitable blog online with little or no upfront investment. As I have gained more knowledge about Marketing online, I also discuss certain pitfalls and enormous mistakes I made and how others can really avoid this.

I really want to focus my energy on writing good material that people love and enjoy reading and help build my readership.

I want my audience to get to know me but also understand the types of services I offer and provide and how I can help them in the beginning stages of starting their business.

Everyone needs to get organized. organization is critical when running an online blog or any type of online business. Your youtube wouldn't grow if you didn't continue posting videos.

My second mission is to help inspire more people to write. Writing is therapeutic in so many ways. Especially in this critical moment during the Coronavirus pandemic, writing can be a healthy form of self-expression. It can also help you connect with other like-minded individuals like yourself.

By writing more you are consistently improving an almost forgotten skill. Think about it. You do all this writing in school but once you graduate you usually go and work and now you are short handing all your notes and nothing is writing completely out anymore, everything has an abbreviation in the corporate world.

Nature says that if we do something out of the norm it may feel uncomfortable at first, but after a moment you begin to enjoy its purpose. The same goes for writing. The more you do it the better you start to become.

Keeping up with a blog is the hardest part, it's the commitment and the dedication that keep it going. Without the constant push, you won't make it. You have to see the overall bigger picture to really understand the reason as to why you just keep writing. Even if no one seems to be reading at first.

Like most ideal concepts about money and debt repayment, there is also this concept for social media. This concept of growth is known as the social snowball. Everyone is waiting and trying for this big prize, the snowball effect. That's when you've got great content that's sharable, that gets a lot of likes, reactions, responses, and most important converted more people into loyal followers.

When you are new, like me, it's hard to know what your audience likes and what they don't because all though they are looking, they aren't really responding nor are they purchasing any of your add-ones.

But why?

Could be millions of things but what I've noticed about online businesses is that you only thrive when you are actually trying. If you are half ass-ing it every day and barely posting or being active then you may have great content but ain't nobody going to see it. For reals. Haha.

People actually will like a somewhat decent photo of someone they know and like then a great photographer photo of someone who is unknown. However, if you are a photographer and you're using the right hashtags of course your amazing photos will go viral, but I am talking about the average person taking a selfie. You being you.

So what can make you more attractive to people?

It's simple this simple.

To be you.

Tell people about your life, the recipes you cook, your to-do lists, your daily chores, your gossip stories, and basically just about anything else, Think about it if you can connect with girls in the planner community great, but what happens when you connect with texas women who are into planning but also love dancing and TikTok, okay well you get some great people. The point to this is that people want to connect with people like them so if you build your community simply around you, the real you, other people like you will find you and you will have a great community of people.

Like me, for instance, I want to connect with other like-minded business owner entrepreneurial type people, ultimately I want to find people who also like things like exotic animals and going on trips to see wildlife and animals. I am just an all-around animal lover so I will go to places as long as cool animals will be there. I know that I can create a business around the things that I love. Including an exotic pet owner gift shop store. All kinds of gifts and cool finds for exotic pet owners and lovers. It's an awesome idea, don't take it!
