Sorry for the time away. I have been moving into my new apartment and getting everything set up was a pain and I easily became distracted.

I have some great content coming soon and can't wait to share it with you.
Organizing is so important.
Especially with your business.
If you're an online business owner things can get pretty hectic and fast but as long as you stay organized you will make it through those crazy times.
Let's see how we can stay organized and optimize our small desk space.

How To Optimize Your Little Space.
I don't know if you can tell in the little picture above but my initial desk area, where it all started (my blog), was crammed in the corner of my room and was not were big to work with.
It easily became cramped and I was finding myself disorganized.
A few ways I made good with this space was I added this stacking organizing shelf!

I use this much like a filing system and I keep a lot of my planner stickers, nail art, journaling, and art supplies.
I find this super handy because I have everything memorized by color so it helps me keep things organized by subject.
By doing this I created my very own filing system which I have also made for my blog, let me explain.
I have the drawers categorized by subject matter, which I mentioned above and some of these, not all of them are always categories or craft I may use on my blog.
So I have journals and notepads for certain topics matters in one color and vice versa.
If I need something for instance, for my Color Select business like my stickers, I can go into either of the purple bins and my supplies are there, including my business cards, inventory lists, and inventory.
I have folders on my computer labeled with that color so that I can quickly access any of the documents I need, yes I know so old school to have things on the computer and paper but you never know your computer could break down and if you don't back it up all the time you might lose your files.
The second way you can optimize your workspace is to turn one of your dual monitors vertically.
It's super easy to do, most modern-day monitors can be landscape or vertical or 90 degrees.
You just have to go into your monitor display settings and set this up once you have actually turned the screen.
It's kinda weird to get used to at first but you'll get used to it and it'll be second nature.
Having dual monitors, period, makes your productivity levels increase so much.
You can be working through many different programs at once and also you can copy things in one screen and quickly paste in the next.
I use it a lot when I am trying to make content, or when I am studying or taking a test for school.
It especially works well if you are writing a paper or a blog post and want to quickly drop images or resources into your masterpiece.
Finally, the third-best way to optimize your space is to use a drawer organizer.
You can find these everywhere, Target, Wayfair, the container store, Ikea, Walmart.
Amazon has a ton and they are super cheap too!
You'll wanna be sure you measure your space first and be sure the item your purchasing will fit in your space.
You can find ones that find directly into your drawers, on top of your desk, under your desk, etc.
I really like this one I find on the container stores website:
You can optimize your small desk in many ways but these are the best ways that I found made my space perfect until I was able to get a bigger office space.
Ideally, you can buy a desk that has a ton of space and is very nice and able to organize.
But I was on a budget and just worked with what I had.
Next, we will be talking about how to organize our online desktop to easily get to important files.
Have a great day.
