There is so much opportunity out here y’all to really take advantage of.
Working from home is something I grew to love.

It was forced upon me once this whole coronavirus thing came around and it’s grown on me.
While making phone calls I multitask with my homework and with my blog and I don’t have anyone to tell me I can’t do that. But the game-changer y’all, was when I went 100% self-employed.
Yes, I quit my job.

I quit most people’s dream jobs to work from home, make half of what I was making, and gain 100% freedom.
What’s funny is at first this seemed like a horrible idea.
But in actuality I am somehow now making more money than I ever was before and here’s how.
I found work at home call center type jobs with LiveOps.
With LiveOps I make a variable rate based on the performance I usually average out to around $15 per hour.
But you have to remember that they don’t take out taxes nor do they take out medical dental etc.
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for all that. Much like uber or lift.
What we can wear:
The best thing about working from home though. Is not having to wear work clothes, hell I barely do my makeup now.
We have a comfy cozy dress code.
I see it as a dress for your day, kind of dress code.
The thought behind this is if I dress super lazy and don’t at least make myself presentable I won't work as hard.
As if I dress comfortably and brush my hair, make myself presentable, then I will contribute to my end goal of being more productive.
If you haven’t already checked it out, go see my “how-to” blog post on reaching your full productivity level. Check it out here.

I’ve created a capsule with all my essentials in it.
My wardrobe capsule is in my dresser away from the rest of my clothes.
It allows me the ability to chose any of the items in the draw and mix and match them together to make different outfits.
It saves me a ton of time and allows me to customize anything I want.
I also have way less laundry overall.
Check out the infographic on my capsule wardrobe.

It’s the best around.
Now that I am a work at home mom, I can literally wear my loungewear all day long.
Unless I have a video chat or something planned up but that’s maybe once a week so 90% of the time I am just lounging around.
I can now enjoy the extra time I have now to work on things I love like my blog and spending time with my family. I also get to do household chores like laundry or random cleaning throughout my day instead of right after working all day.
My boyfriend and I work from home together he does IT from home with the company he’s always been working for.
I bought just a regular pair of noise cancellation headphones and people can’t hear him on my end.
Our bedroom has turned into somewhat of a little call center.
Equipping My home office:
Dual screen monitors, 2 large monitors, one vertical one horizontal.
Wireless mouse and keyboard.
Microsoft Office Pro and Mac, dual mac operating system on my MacBook.
Webcam.
Noise cancellation headset.
Ethernet 50′ cable.

The monitors are old ones from PCs we’ve had over the years and the computer is my brand new MacBook Air. All you have to do to hook up the monitors is an HDMI cable and if you have a Mac an adaptor that allows you to connect screens and USB cords.
For the Ethernet cable on my MacBook, I am also using and Ethernet USB plugin. 50 feet was a little overboard I could have down with a 30 foot long could but whose to judge me lol.
Of course, I have my eat more chicken cow because I love Chikfila
I love that by working from home I can wear what I want, work when I want, and decorate my
desk as much or as little as I want to.
Why do you love working from home?
